New Year's Eve 2025 Krone

When a year comes to an end, it can be a little more: more indulgence, more style, more experiences. That's exactly what we're planning for New Year's Eve 2025 at the Krone Thun.

Because for us, New Year's Eve is more than just a turn of the year - it's an opportunity to look back with you, raise a glass and start the new year full of joy.

Our kitchen team in the grill restaurant is already working on a 7-course menu that tickles the senses. A play of contrasts in which strong flavors and subtle nuances merge into a culinary experience. Surprisingly combined, elegantly served - and accompanied by our team, who will guide you through the evening with passion, personality and a twinkle in their eye.

The supporting program includes live music by Tom Lee - a colourful mix of country, blues and rock, in English and in "Bärndütsch". We also invite you to capture memories in our photo box - and surprise you with other elements that we are not yet revealing.

A late bloomer in music, he started playing the guitar late in life. Although he was given his first electric piano at the age of 10, it was only the "simple" Gölä songs that motivated him to start playing on his own. For all the years before that, he had been involved in various martial arts. His former kung fu teacher and ex-lead guitarist of Gölä taught him his first chords. Then came his first bands like "Stand Art" and "Wanderwäg," until he teamed up with Res, the same kung fu teacher and guitarist, to form a unique trio. This was followed by countless gigs with Thun-based Italo singer and composer Roberto Brigante, until he finally ventured into his own project, the Tom Lee Band.

Do you prefer Asian food? We also celebrate New Year's Eve in the Chinese restaurant - relaxed and authentic with dishes from our à la carte menu. Without live music, but with just as much taste.

New Year's Eve dining in the grill restaurant: Doors open at 6.00 pm - 1st course at approx. 6.30 pm. No "à la carte" dishes. Vegetarian option only on advance order. Live music by Tom Lee.
Chinese restaurant: Classic "à la carte" service. Open from 18.00 hrs. WITHOUT live music.
