Scope

These GTC apply to all legal relationships between the customer and Krone Thun.

Conclusion of contract

A reservation is deemed to have been made as soon as written confirmation (e-mail, letter) has been received.

Room cancellations

If canceled up to 24h before date of arrival (15.00h) (except non-refundable rate), no fee will be charged. Cancellations made later or no shows will be charged at 100% of the booked arrangement. Cancellation conditions for groups apply from 5 rooms.

Cancellations Groups/Banquets/Seminars

14 days before arrival free of charge
13 to 7 days before arrival 50% of the total costs
6 to 4 days before arrival 75% of the total costs
3 to 0 days before arrival 100% of the total costs

The registered number of participants can be changed free of charge up to 48 hours before the event. If the change is made less than 48 hours before the event, the number of persons stated in advance shall be the basis for invoicing.

Advance payment / security deposit

The hotel is entitled to demand an advance payment or security deposit from the customer upon conclusion of the contract, for example in the form of a credit card guarantee.

Pets

Pets are very welcome in our house. For the special cleaning of the room we charge you CHF 15.- per night without food. We reserve the right to charge you for any damage caused by pets.

Liability

The Krone Thun is liable for damages only in cases of intent or gross negligence. Claims must be made in writing to the hotel immediately, at the latest 14 days after departure; otherwise they are deemed forfeited.

Liability of the customer

Customers (or the contractual partner of the hotel) shall be liable for damage or theft caused by them or their underage children, employees, event participants or authorised third parties in the premises and on the Krone site.

Applicable court

Swiss law applies exclusively and the place of jurisdiction is Thun.

‍

Exchange rate

The conversion from euros (€) to Swiss francs (CHF) is as follows:
CHF 1.00 = 0.93 euros.

Competition & Sweepstakes
Conditions of participation

Prize draws are organised by Zulg Immobilien AG, Hotel Krone Thun, Obere Hauptgasse, CH-3600 Thun, Switzerland.

Competitions are not associated with, sponsored, endorsed or organised by Facebook, Instagram or any other social networking site. Prizes, are in the name of the participating person and are not transferable or re-giftable to any third party. The validity of the prize is predetermined.

All persons resident in Switzerland are entitled to participate. Employees of the hotel Krone are excluded. The winners will be notified in writing by e-mail. With the participation, the user data will be included in the distribution list of the digital newsletter. This consent can be revoked at any time using the unsubscribe form, which will result in the deletion of the collected user data. No correspondence will be entered into about the competition. Cash payment is not possible. The legal process is excluded. Participation in the prize draw is independent of a product order or purchase.
