The weather is cloudy and cold - high time for fondue in Thun! We are ready for the cheese season and welcome you to the "Fondühüsli" and "Fondüwäudli" pop-up.

Starting in mid-November 2026, our popular “Fondüwäudli” pop-up in Thun will kick off its next season. During the cold winter months, you can enjoy flavorful cheese fondue, delicious mulled wine, and warming schnapps here—an unforgettable winter experience in Thun.

CHEESE FORK, WINTER JACKET & DIVING GOGGLES

Outside under the large umbrellas, protected from dancing snowflakes, between wood chips and tanndli, our "Fondüwäudli" is a unique winter highlight. Cuddly blankets and furs provide warmth and coziness - and if the worst comes to the worst: "Zämärütsche git Warm".

Take a look for yourself: Here in the "Fondüwäudli" in the middle of Thun, everyone will find a spot - even if you almost lose your bearings on the way. And if the journey in swimming gear is too risky for our Aare swimmer, we recommend it: Dress warmly and treat yourself to a little extra snack!
