"Härzlech Wiukomme"

It is important to us to offer a wide range of prospects. For many years, we have been training junior staff in various areas of the catering industry.

Four new apprentices started with us at the beginning of August. Julie, Linda, Livio & Ivan started their training with us at Krone .

Julie started her first year of apprenticeship as a hotel clerk at our reception, Linda shows her skills as a restaurant specialist, Livio enchants with delicious dishes from the kitchen and Ivan takes care of a clean room and a fresh bed for a good night's sleep.

Livio Werren - Trainee chef, 1st year of apprenticeship

Livio Werren

What kind of apprenticeship have you started and what are you looking forward to the most?
I've started my apprenticeship as a chef and I'm really looking forward to the events we'll be attending.

What wishes do you have for your future?
I hope to learn a lot & have fun at work.

If you were a spice, which one would you be and why?
I would be pepper! Pepper is not only my favorite spice, I also love spicy food and pepper goes with everything.

Linda Wermüller - Trainee catering specialist, 1st year of apprenticeship

Linda Wegmüller

What kind of training have you started and what are you most looking forward to?
I started my apprenticeship as a restaurant specialist at the beginning of August. I'm really looking forward to learning new things and being able to work with a cool team.

What wishes do you have for your future?
I hope to successfully complete my apprenticeship and perhaps work abroad at some point. My role model in my apprenticeship is my vocational trainer Lisa.

If you were a spice, which one would you be and why?
I would be cinnamon. Cinnamon always reminds me of my mom's delicious applesauce and the cinnamon stars my late grandmother used to make for me.

Julie Graf - Apprentice KV HGT, 1st year of apprenticeship

Julie Graf

What kind of apprenticeship have you started and what are you looking forward to the most?
I have now started my apprenticeship as an HGT clerk. I'm really looking forward to getting to know new people and especially that I can now do my dream job. I've always wanted to know what it's like to work in a hotel.

What wishes do you have for your future?
I hope that I can complete my training well and do the things that I enjoy the most.

If you were a spice, which one would you be and why?
Aromat. I always try to make sure that everyone has a good time and gets along well. However, I'm aware that unfortunately this doesn't always work. I prefer to be in an atmosphere where there's a good mood and something to laugh about every now and then. :)

Ivan Sarvadii - Apprentice hotel specialist, 1st year of apprenticeship

What kind of apprenticeship have you started and what are you most looking forward to?
I started my apprenticeship as a hotel housekeeping specialist in August. What I'm most looking forward to is the friendly working atmosphere, which motivates me to work.

What wishes do you have for your future?
I would like to study at a university at some point. I still see myself working in the hotel industry in the future.

If you were a spice, which one would you be and why?
I would be cinnamon. Cinnamon describes me quite well and can be both sweet and bitter.

We wish the new trainees lots of confidence, creativity and enthusiasm in their training. We are looking forward to everything that is to come.

"It is important to us to offer young people the opportunity to find a second home in the catering industry. When training young talent, we focus on fun and trust, and of course we also want a large portion of motivation and willingness to learn on the other side. As in everyday working life, good training can only succeed if everyone pulls together. That's why I wish the three of them a lot of courage, a lot of joy and that certain spark of luck to climb up the rope together."
