In August 2025, two motivated apprentices started their training at Hotel Krone Thun. Welcome to the team - we are delighted to have Sandro and Birk on board and to accompany them on their way to the EFZ.

Sandro starts his 1st year of apprenticeship as a chef EFZ

Sandro started his apprenticeship in our kitchen on August 4. He brings fire to the hob. He is not only completing his apprenticeship in the kitchen - he is also learning how to serve experiences. Perhaps you will soon be enjoying one of Sandro's experiences.

• 3 years
• 1 day of school per week
• Over 15 different styles to prepare eggs
• Please do not quench pasta under cold water

Birk starts his 3rd year of apprenticeship as an EFZ mediamatician

The marketing department is also getting a breath of fresh air: Birk is starting his third year of training as a mediamatician. Among other things, he will look after digital channels, take pictures for our website and design interfaces between creativity and technology.

• 4 years
• 1-2 days of school per week
• Screen time = working time
• Lifelong IT specialist in the family
• Always - can be used anywhere
